Take your simple salmon to the next level with this delicious mustard and dill recipe.
I am an avid salmon lover, and I truly never get sick of it. Whether you’re an amateur or expert chef, this recipe is so simple anyone could make it. Salmon is loaded with healthy fats (omega-3s), which help prevent disease and inflammation.
I like to have my salmon over a bed of grilled vegetables and grains for dinner or over a giant salad for lunch. No matter how you eat it, you’re guaranteed a delicious and nutritious meal. Opt for wild salmon to get an extra boost of minerals
INGREDIENTS:
* 4 oz of wild Salmon per person (pro tip: ask the market to precut them into 4 oz pieces instead of a whole filet)
* ½ – 1 Lemon
* ½ Tablespoon Salt and Pepper
* 2 Cups Dijon Mustard (I love Mailleus)
* 1 Cup Chopped Dill
* 2 Tablespoons Avo or EVOO for baking sheets
STEP 1:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grab your baking pans, line with either tinfoil or parchment paper (I prefer parchment paper). Lightly grease the tinfoil lined pan with avocado oil.
STEP 2:
Place the salmon onto the pans and sprinkle the salt and pepper over the salmon.
Take the lemon and squeeze it over the salmon.
½ lemon for 4 pieces, 1 full lemon for 8 pieces.
Optional: you can use a brush to spread the lemon juice evenly over the salmon.
STEP 3:
Take ¼ cup of mustard and spread over one piece of salmon (repeat for the additional pieces of salmon).
Take the dill and place as much or as little as you want onto each piece of salmon.
STEP 4:
Place salmon into the oven and bake for 10 – 12 minutes.
Then broil the salmon for 5 minutes to get it crispy.
STEP 5 Optional:
Take additional mustard and dill and put on top of the salmon and enjoy!
Serve and Enjoy!
Enjoy over a salad, grilled vegetables, or however you like!
